FINAL WEEK OF LECTURES!

It is true, these are some of my work duty friends... below is Marchiem, one of our leaders who I love (I love them all) and Ezra...I had to use the flash to make this picture work though:) He's the leader of the gang the "Black Cats" which is for select members of the work duties team... there actually is a gang in India by this name we discovered though!

First of all... I'm now Aunty Stefanie! Meg and Steve now have my niece Annabelle Faith, in their care (as of September 8) and will keep her with them until I return in June. I am a very proud aunt but also quite dissapointed that I can't hold Annabelle for another 8 1/2 months:(

This was our final week of lectures.... next week Sunday we're going to be in Hyderabad! I am so eager to start actually working in the hospitals but I am a bit nervous as I have never done this before. We have been super busy with flights, finances, immunizations, and other preparations. On Monday, ALL OF OUR MONEY CAME IN! Everyone on the school has paid their bills and our flights are booked! During Monday worship, the leader of the base asked everyone who still needed money to stand in the front and the rest of us had to ask God if we were supposed to give to them.... it was so cool cuz God squeezed $14,000 out of a bunch of YWAMers(there are about 300 people on base) and our base total for outreach fees went from $42,000 to $28,000 in a half hour!

It has been bitter sweet getting ready to go as I realize that I may never see many of my friends from the other schools as they are also leaving for outreach and then will return to their different countries. At the same time, its been so cool meeting people from all over the world and I know that I can bum off of them for the rest of my life if I'm ever in their neighborhood.

Next time we talk I'll be in Hyderabad!!!
