Hyderabad at last!

Hi friends

We made it and everything is going so smoothly it's amazing. My friend from DTS, Ravi, picked our team up from the airport and has been helping us a lot since we arrived. He now has a family with 2 boys and pastors two churches. On Sunday we will be going to his church and one of the BAS girl's husband is speaking already for Ravi. It is so exciting to be back, though I think I like Hyderabad more than Chennai as the temperature is cooler:)

We are all adjusting to the heat(approx 30+ and very humid, constant sweating!), food(finally I have been eating legit Indian food!), and culture.

Funny story. I was walking back from the city last night and two boys on a motorcycle drove by and stared at us. We ignored them but they must have pulled over because when we kept walking they were suddenly beside us and asked, "excuse me madame, can we start a friend ship with you? IF you don't mind?" we laughed and kept walking. They then drove by and asked, "Is that an answer madame?" and we ignored them. Then they must've went around the block because they passed us again and said, "Is that a yes or no madame?".. to which i shouted out "NO!" and they drove off laughing... it was super funny.

Today we held an open air, it's been four years since I did one and it was fun. We received permission very quickly (usually it takes about a week and we got it in one day) to work in the hospital and hopefully we will begin next week. I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED! We will tour the hospital on friday and some of the staff remember the other teams so they are also excited for us to start.
